Private insurance

Every foreigner (regardless of whether he or she is a student of the Polish Linguistic Institute) is obliged to have health insurance at the time of entry and during the period of stay on the territory of the Republic of Poland.

You can purchase the insurance policy at the office of the Polish Language Institute from 10:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday or by completing the online form

How much does an insurance policy cost?

*The minimum insurance period is one month, the maximum — is 12 months

90-day policy — PLN 210

180-day policy — PLN 325

270-day policy — PLN 395

365-day policy — PLN 530

What documents will be needed?

Please note that not every health insurance policy meets the conditions set out in the Foreigners Act. Before purchasing an insurance policy, it is advisable to read the information of the Minister of Foreign Affairs about insurers and the insurance they offer which meet the conditions referred to in the paragraph 1(2)(a) and (1b) of the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners.

I want to buy an insurance policy

It is not necessary to provide proof of identity or legal residence, but the following details of the insured person must be provided in order to purchase the insurance policy

first name,
last name (as in passport),
citizenship,
passport number,
date of birth,
e-mail,
telephone
and address of residence.
