EXAMINATION SESSION DATES IN 2026
State Commission for Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language [Państwowa Komisja ds. Poświadczania Znajomości Języka Polskiego jako Obcego] announced the schedule of examination sessions in 2026.
The examinations in Polish as a foreign language will take place on the following dates and for the following language levels:
- 14–15 February 2026 (Saturday–Sunday) levels B1 and B2 – in a group tailored to the needs of adults, and B1 and B2 – in a group tailored to the needs of children and young people;
- 25–26 April 2026 (Saturday–Sunday) levels B1 and C1 — in a group tailored to the needs of adults;
- 27–28 June 2026 (Saturday–Sunday) levels B1 and B2 — in a group tailored to the needs of adults;
- 17–18 October 2026 (Saturday–Sunday) levels B1, C1 and C2 — in a group tailored to the needs of adults.
Polish Language Institute will not organise a group examination adapted to the needs of children and young people.

Identity documents required
Pursuant to § 3 point 2 of the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 26 February 2016 on examinations in Polish as a foreign language, we inform you that a person intending to take the exam at the Examination Centre of the MOBI Foundation — Polish Linguistic Institute is required to present a document confirming their identity before the exam
The Examination Centre of the MOBI Foundation — Polish Linguistic Institute accepts, among others, the following types of identity documents:
- identity card,
- travel document,
- temporary residence permit (karta czasowego pobytu),
- permanent residence permit (karta stałego pobytu),
- long-term EU resident card (karta pobytu rezydenta długoterminowego UE),
- Polish document certifying the identity of a foreigner,
- temporary identity card of a foreigner,
- travel document provided for in the Geneva Convention on the Status of Refugees,
- document confirming the existence of a permit for ‘tolerated stay’ (‘zgoda na pobyt tolerowany’),
- diplomatic card,
- identity card,
- seaman’s identity card.
